2. I've always had those options enabled without any problems.
   Try checking for any error messages in the debug window (right-click on "About..." in the menu)

   Can you make an option in gmail checker and show/put icon in taskbar menu/tools menu at the top (very useful) if someone does not use the status bar?

5. For those of us with a single account, can you bring back the feature where Gmail Checker uses the browser cookie to log in/fetch mail? I don't like entering my password into an add-on and that was a big reason I've been such a fan of your add-on. Thanks!

6. @Punisherr: toolbar button will be available in the next release.
   
   @ArthurDental: not sure if you've read my notes in the previous post. "Log in new account" in the menu is what you want.
   The improvement in version 2 compared with version 1 is that you can have multiple login sessions (aka cookies of different accounts at the same time). The account manager is just an option, not a requirement.

11. For 2.1 can you add as an option the old style menu where the email headers are directly in the menu instead of having to hover and wait for the sub-menu to pop out? Even if it's just for single accounts that's fine, whichever implementation is easiest.

13. Great, it works straight when three other checkers still don't! Still I wish WebMail Notifier works because it checks my other two providers also.
    
    I wonder if this from the debug window has to do with the problem (perhaps an exception that's not being caught by other checkers?

14. That exception is benign and unrelated to the problem.
    The problem is that Gmail requires an additional input and cookie named "GALX" to send along with the username and password when logging in.

15. for me the version 2.1.1 work fine for me, but the standard and the older version (exp 2.0 1, 1.3.1 etc... not work at all.
    i have followed the info 1 2 3 but not work.

16. I've tried the steps 1,2,3 and went to www.gmail.com and tried steps 2,3 again. Doesn't work again.
    I've tested version 2 and 1.3.1.1 and I'm using FF 3.5.3 pt-BR.
